Network Analyst I - III

Essential Duties:  Provide PC and computer systems administration and technical support. Provide technical support to telephony systems.  Administer UNIX servers.  Assist in WAN administration.  Provide engineering expertise to various ongoing information technology projects.  Provide technical support to center operations.  Implement substantive technical recommendations for improved operations.  Troubleshoot problems and implements changes on tactical communications platforms.  Diagnose system failures to isolate source of problems between equipment, system software, and application programs.  Provide solutions by modifying codes, devising fixes, documenting problems and advising responsible party.  Resolve hardware and software problems and reports unresolved problems.  Plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and software applications.  Direct testing of vendor-provided software.  Advise staff on issues pertaining to operating systems and hardware status.  May act as a team lead, within a team and will do some independent work.

Qualifications:

Network Analyst I Bachelor’s Degree
Network Analyst II Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years experience
Network Analyst III Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years experience
