Software Engineer I – III

Essential Duties:  Provides expertise in the design, modification, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems.  Coordinates with the client to determine requirements to support specific business functions.  Provides interface, as appropriate, to existing systems, including legacy systems, to gather/provide needed information and data. Provides training on enhancements, maintenance and operation of systems.  Manages or assists with the implementation and rollout of solutions. Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of highly complex and advanced software applications and problems requiring the expert application of advanced knowledge. Specialized experience includes analysis, design or maintenance of complex software systems, including simulations and modeling, client/server architectures, networking techniques and protocols, databases, programming languages, and/or operating systems. Experienced in developing standards compliant software utilizing industry-leading operating systems, languages, protocols, and relational databases. May provide work leadership to lower level employees.

Qualifications:

Software Engineer I Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years experience
Software Engineer II Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years experience
Software Engineer III Bachelor’s Degree plus 7 years experience
